Our Children's Ministry strives to nurture and provide
each child with an educational, theological and mission
oriented foundation for their life's journey in the
Christian faith.
NURSERY -

9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Infants through 2 years old
Our youngest members learn love and affection through
the care of dedicated staff and volunteers. Beepers
are available for parents.
PRESCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL
9:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. - 3 years old through preschool
We use United Methodist curriculum which introduces
major Biblical characters and events. We also have music,
crafts and mission projects throughout the liturgical
year.

The new Northbrook "Caravan" is based on the
"Workshop Rotational Model", a children's
curriculum presented in hands-on, multi-sensory, and
highly motivating learning workshops.
YOUNG WORSHIPPERS - learn more . . .
9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Young children together with their parents are encouraged
to worship together in the service through the Children's
Moments, then return to their Sunday School classrooms
where their learning continues.
SPROUTS - learn more
. . .
Sprouts is a Covenant Discipleship Group for 4th and
5th graders. Sprouts meets Sunday evenings from 4:00
p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Each session is a ten week commitment
where the kids explore acts of justice, kindness, devotion,
and worship.
THIRD GRADE BIBLE FAIR
September
16, 2007
Bible Fair at 9:30. Children
receive Bibles at 11:00
Our third graders receive Bibles from the church and
have a special Bible Fair with their parents. Activities
include a special video, games and a scavenger hunt.
The Third Graders will then have eight weeks of training
in their Sunday School classroom on how to use their
new Bibles. |
