ENGLISH SUMMER-PROGRAM
Every Tuesday in July - 6:00 to 8:00pm
Every Friday in July - 10:00 to 12:00pm
The objective of this program is to mainly keep in touch with our current students during the summer, by providing them an environment to practice their English. The English classes are mainly English conversations, so we encourage everyone to come to either one of the dates or several and just speak English. You won’t have to teach an English grammar class, just hold an English conversation. We believe this can help our students to practice what they have learned while developing and stronger friendship and relationship with Northbrook members. Contact Rodrigo Cruz at 770-998-2000 ext. 243, rcruz@northbrookumc.com if you are interested in helping, or just show up. |

STEPHEN MINISTRY:Who will know about my problem if I talk to a Stephen Minister? This is a question many people ask. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of Stephen Ministry. No one knows what is talked about in a caring relationship except for the person and the Stephen Minister. If you have a burden you need to share, perhaps a Stephen Minister can help. To request a Stephen Minister, call Debora Daniel at 770-891-2002.

READ THE BIBLE THROUGH IN A YEAR: Would you like to join in a simple Bible reading plan that will help you read the whole Bible in one year? You can do it by reading approximately 15 minutes a day. A guide, which you can print at www.ngumc.org(look under resources) is designed to keep your place as you read through the Bible. By keeping this guide with your Bible and checking off each day's reading as you complete it, you will be able to follow a schedule that will enable you to read all the way through the Bible in one year. |
